Setting up SLI

Hey everyone. I decided to sell my GTX 285 and I got 2x 8800gt. I got them really cheap so why not. I'm having truble setting them up in SLI. I have both seated correct and they both show up in Device Manager. But, when I go into the NVIDIA control panel, I do not get the option to enable SLI.

-I am running version 197.45 for Windows 7 x64.
-I uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers already and got same problem.

What could be the issue here or is there another way to enable SLI mode?

Thanks so much.:P

You need a Sli adapter to connect them with eachother.. And why would you sell GTX 285 and Sli two 8800gt that will give you lower fps?

1. I have an SLI adapter connected to it.
2. I don't really play games on PC anymore(switched over to console) so I don't really need it.

If they are connected, you must go to Nvidia control panel > set Physx and Sli configuration and turn Sli ON. If it does not appear, try to check if everything is inserted correctly. It should appear a message in the corner of your screen indicating that there is an ability to Sli...
