Right I hadn't looked in to them too much since today

I couldn't ever afford a PSP even though I wanted one, but we found one in my step dads new car so I have one :D. I get that the stuff is saved on the memory card, like music and videos and pictures and what not, but you can also put games on there it would seem.

Now with that, how would you do so legally?

Do things that you buy from the playstation store go on there, and if so, if I were to uninstall whatever I bought, would I have to buy it again, or is it bound to my account?

Also are there any sites that you can get the games from legally to put on the PSP through the USB cable?

There were already a couple of games on there and NFS Shift in it, but I don't know how they got them on there. I did a little googling but no legit things came up, any help from someone with experience would be appreciated
 
what model psp is it, the newer ones have the built in memory and you can download games right from psn with it via computer or ps3 if done on the ps3 all you have to is hook psp up to it and sync the game or transfer it whatever they wanna call it.

For older psps im not sure i know i could use psn on the psp 1000 i had i could download demos not sure about games.

It is a PSP slim and I put the latest software on so I assume I can do the PC/PS3 thing?

It is on the internet though too, so can I not buy things from psn and download them through the psp, rather than my pc and transfer over?
 
you might be able to download straight from your psp i would just brows psn on the psp and see what you can, it all depends on the size of the mem card though.
 
Aastii dont you know that is stealing by finding.Why did your dad not return it to it's rightful owner the person who your dad bought the car from.:(

he bought it from a dealer rather than private like we normally do, it has been sat in the dealership for months.

he also figured, they traded in the car as part ex for a BMW x5, so they aren't doing too bad, won't hit them hard if they are missing it. We could take it back to the dealer, but what would he do? Keep it for himself ;). And have you ot heard the saying one man's loss is another man's gain?

Can you only download games from psn, or can you get them cheaper elsewhere, similar to how you can buy games on 360 from their on demand service, but most aren't worth £20 in the shops, which is what all are sold for on there

I'm not going to send any links incase they are dodgy, but I came across some sites that have a subscription or one off payment of something like £40 and then you can download the games.

Is that illegal and they are only chargeing for bandwidth and to put a bit of money in their pockets, or does it end up going to the devs in the right quantities?

the back is a little scratched too. I'm getting a new battery cover, but do you know if it is possible to get covers for elsewhere? (I mean replacement panels, not the seethrough screen protectors or plastic covers or anything)

yea I got my cover from amazon for £4 inc shipping I think, so not bad.

only downside to it (if you can call it that :P) is that it didn't come with a charger either, but we have loads of USB-mini usb cables kicked about, so been charging it off my computer, need to pick on a charger too which are also dirt cheap
 
yea i dont think thats a bad price, and to russ if i would have found it in a car i bought im not gunna go out of my way to give it back. should clean the car before trading it in or selling it its not his fault they failed to do so.

I thought it was an alright price, the guy had etched his name in it, his gamer name. All of the saves were Zte and it has ZTE on the back of the battery cover, so I assume that is why.

The UMD cover is a bit scuffed too, but I think that might polish out, if not I'm stuck with it anyway, don't think you can change that cover.
