I plan on putting a PC together from parts im gonna order from Newegg. I think all these parts are compatible but I want to double check here just to make sure and I also have a few questions.
Motherboard: ASUS M4A89GTD PRO
Processor: AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition Deneb 3.4GHz
RAM: G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600
Video Card: XFX HD-577A-ZNDC Radeon HD 5770 XXX Edition 1GB
Hard Drive: Western Digital AV-GP WD15EVDS 1.5TB
DVD Writer: LITE-ON Black iHAS424-98
Card Reader: Koutech IO-RCM621
Case: RAIDMAX SAGITTA 2 ATX-928WS
Power Supply: CORSAIR CMPSU-550VX 550W
That is all. If you notice any incompatibility please tell me. Now my questions are whats the procedure for overclocking so the RAM runs at 1600 (a step by step tutorial preferable) and how can I utilize the Hybrid CrossFireX mentioned in the motherboard overview, do I have to have my monitor plugged into the onboard video, is it even worth it. I notice in the overview it said to use "a discrete ATI video card" for Hybrid CrossFireX does that mean a less powerful video card for it to work? One more question has anyone done a ATI with AMD CPU vs ATI with Intel CPU performance comparison? Im assuming that an ATI Video Card with a AMD Processor would have better performance than ATI with Intel being the same company now. I tried looking on Google but I found nothing.
I appreciate any help, and thank you.
