Sneak peak to what you guys are up against for the new 3dmark06 challenge :D

Unfortunately, 06' does not scale quad SLI on the SM2 correctly. Only uses 50% of each core. But the SM3 uses 75% of each GPU. I only scored 2k higher with quad SLI over a single GX2 in 06'. Vantage however scales correctly and it's a huge difference. Also, I had better results in 06' disabling hyper threading and using higher clock. 4.6ghz with HT and 4.8ghz no HT got the same CPU score, but increases SM2 and SM3 quite a bit with the higher clockspeed.

With dual PCB I would be a headache. I have a Vmodded 8800gts 512mb that I have a little fun with, and I have another one that I plan to mod and SLI those for fun. I also have a GPU pot for G92 cores, may fiddle with that some day too.

$250 for both cards.

Mostly just COD WAW. I mostly just do it for the OCF bench team on HWbot, and for my own fun. I enjoy owning and benching hardware so I can give more accurate advise than most other people because of my experiences.
 
That's cool. Did you disable HT on your processor or does yours not have it? Does it make a difference? Because I had to disable HT to play Shaun White Snowboarding, forgot to turn it back on and haven't noticed a difference when playing other games. And which ATI cards do you think would yeild the same results for me in CF? Or 4 way CF? Thanks.

It's disabled, I just disabled it for 3dmark06 because it doesn't seem to utilize more than 4 threads anyway. But 3dmark Vantage does. As for gaming, not many games at all really utilize more than 4 threads also. The I5 750 is actually the best ''bang for the buck'' gaming CPU there is, even still now.

Two 4870X2's in quadfire would nudge me out, or two 5870's would beat my score as well if you get your CPU over 4.4ghz or so.
