I need something that is going to be playable on my netbook!

It runs on a 1.33GHz Intel Atom & a GMA 500.

Name some old classics (that are still played online) :)

hmm....not much realy,Even GTA 3 wouldnt run very well on those specs.

You could try games like Age Of Empires...im pretty sure people still play that online as its a good game.

I cant believe you sold your gaming rig,I couldnt do without mine..no Xbox or PS3 could replace it!

Lol yeah I've sold my Xbox now too, put the cash in savings, didn't really use it all that much.

I might save up for a new low end gaming pc for my birthday (july)

Would only be able to raise like £250 though so. Lol :P

Tribes 2 (it was released for free in 2004). The issue of the authentication server having been taken down last year was solved by the community.

What about a Refurb computer there cheaper.

You should try Warcraft III. Everyone still plays it, and it's very fun (especially with friends).

Dawn of War is good as well. Unfortunately, very few people play it now since there is a Dawn of War II. Only around 10 - 20 people are on every time you play online.

Maplestory. Not recommended if you hate childish looking games, but it's quite fun. Thousands log in each day, and constant updates are made.

That. Go to Tribesnext.com

Goon Haven is the best server, IMO :good:

Also, Quake Live should run on that, I think. Probably the old Blizzard classics as well.

Maplestory is cute and millions are on every day. Its just a bit boring after awhile

lol bootup you gaming addict :P

Some of the older splintercell games might work on that. Battlefield 2? If you like racing games, Most Wanted maybe, Underground 2 maybe (both are decent arcade racing games) and MX vs ATV Unleashed...PORTAL!! can't think of any others atm....wait Black Hawk Down ;)

I have played Quake Arena and Unreal Tourniment online with a system similar. And there's still numerous server's that have them going.

For Unreal Tourni you will need to download a patch, and for Quake Arena there's a few patches and Mod's that you can get also.

With Quake Arena the open GL may be a problem with the video card you have so check that out if it won't play,i had to upgrade the video card. Hope this help's you.

I have many fond memories of playing games on old Heat.Net i miss the old time's

counter strike runs quite well on my netbook, but not CS:S, just CS 1.6. i also hear that need for speed most wanted plays well on netbooks, but i cant verify that.
