OLED Monitors?

I have a Zune HD and all i can say about its screen is its Just AWESOME:D.
OLED Tvs i think are starting to come out but when will we see some OLED Monitors?
 
A few years for the professional market, maybe a few years beyond that for consumer products. The biggest problem right now is the lifespan of OLED displays, the blue OLED's are relatively difficult to get a long life from. I am personally more intrigued by SED and FED displays, if they ever make it to market i would definately purchase one.
 
Last time I checked Sony was one of the few manufacturers with an OLED TV out on the market. It's only an 11" display and it costs about $2,500, so I doubt we'll see OLED monitors until the manufacturing costs for larger displays (than what is on for example the Zune HD) have been brought down to a reasonable level. In theory the OLED technology is cheaper and much better than current LCD and plasma display technology, but manufacturers are having a hard time getting it to scale up.
 
i thought the only thing holding them back was the life of the blues. but that is getting better very quickly
