virus from cd?

hey
i put a cd in a computer that had viruses in it and i addet some saved game files in the cd.
the thing is, is it possibel to get a virus from a cd when just putting it in or not?
thanks.
 
Were did you get the cd from. If manufactured nope. Created by people yes. If it was created by you from dragging files to the cd to burn you had the virus on your computer but it would not activate since it was not automatically booting from a cd.

Generally it's possible in case virus coming from CD,because you whatever put in computer scan first then check it ,because in mostly game CD had virus if you want to protect your computer then scan your pc.
