yeah those are great sticks of ram dude. get 6 gigs though to benefit from triple channel

I have not got the CPU/MOBO yet, even though some might say those should be first. I am just trying to build a really nice computer from really good deals. Sooo. But I do want to game with it.

First of all, there is no i9. If your computer will be directed to games than i7 and yes, i7 is compatible with DDR3.

Before buying RAM and PSU you need motherboard and CPU to go with it. What if you buy wrong PSU to your motherboard? Will have to send it back.

If you really want i7 go for it. To that install 4GB of triple-channel 1600MHz DDR3 RAM and good graphics.
