First gaming pc, need criticism/ideas

I want to build a PC able to run modern games (SC2, etc.) on high settings and to just be able to run smoothly for everything else. Here is what I've got so far (budget $700-$800)

I have HDD/monitor/keyboard/mouse already

This will come out to be $742.93, or $786.60 after tax/shipping/rebates.

Thoughts?

high settings might be a bit much for the hd 5770. are you saying you want like 8xaa and all high settings or just high settings with no aa?

I don't really know much about graphics but ideally just as good as possible within my budget, don't want to drop like $250 on a graphics card right now, but what would crossfiring two 5770s down the road be like?

a lot of people suggested the 5770 due to its price and quality.

I'm just sick of playing games on all the lowest settings and STILL having it skip like crazy
 
How about you save a little more and get a 5830? also ignore the early reviews, the drivers for it were in beta.

well I technically have enough to buy it (earning 4k this summer in college) but don't really want to spend too much =\

what would a 5830 do to justify spending an extra $60?

those are just some. oc'ing a 5830 would allow you to easy surpass the 5770 in any situation.
