Display Problem

I had a ATI X800-XL AIW 256mb AGP card kicking around, so i decided to install it into my old P3 system running win2k, my kids use it to play Starcraft, D2:LOD, and many more. I've ran into a problem, and I'm now seeking assistance.

Every time i run a program that requires 3D Acceleration, my monitor goes blank. When i go into CCC 3D settings menu it does the same thing. I updated all the drivers, and i have .Net Framework 2.0 SP1. If some one could help me out, it would be much appreciated.

old school Specs

ASUS CUV4X-C Motherboard
Intel Pentium III @ 933Mhz
384Mb RAM
WDC 80GB ATA HDD
Windows 2000 SP4

P.s. I upgraded from a NVidia Riva TNT2 64mb, the card came with the system back in 2000

Did you uninstall the old drivers for the TNT2? I also used one of those cards waaay back, it did the same thing i think before i uninstalled the old drivers. (upgraded to an FX 5800 :))

I did a complete reinstall of Win2k OS, it seems kinda like the monitor signal gets lost, or is getting interrupted. BTW I am using a Samsung SyncMaster 2043 LCD screen, idk, i guess i'll have to find another VGA, thx for your help. :)

Update: the AIW card was on it's last leg, lol, i put the TNT2 back in it, runs good for a basic computer.
