Is this card any good? I bought my computer from a friend and it came with this card. I was wondering if I should keep it when I upgrade to a new computer.

The AGP card? It's pretty outdated these days. If you're looking to game with it, I'd suggest upgrading to a better card.

Given the specs I'm going to assume it's not an AGP. But even still, the 7300 is a very low-end card. It'd be fine for anything aside for gaming.

No i dont think this card is good. because this card is equal to motherboard on-board graphics. so if you want no buy this ones then you dont need to install it use your onboard graphics. but if you are true gamer then you Asus EAH5670 Graphics Card
existent performance.

i wouldnt say that the 5670 is good gpu for games, do you mean 5770 or perhaps the 5870.
to the op if you have the money i suggest going for a ati hd 5870

Asusming your sig is your specs, I wouldn't recommend mixing your nVidia onboard chipsets with an ATi graphics card at this stage.

Also, what exactly is that 500W PSU, because that will be the limiting factor on what is a decent machine with a new gpu, PSU and 1GB ram.

Do you game? If yes you need 1GB ram and a graphics card such as a new 8800GT on ebay for around $100. You can get all of this for under $200. This would be a nice gaming machine then. New graphics card is wasted with 1GB ram under Vista (or use readyboost if you can).

New GPU may need a better PSU.

Please post:

1. Budget (total $)

2. Computer use (e.g. gaming or not)

3. Specfic PSU model (look at sticker on Power Supply Unit (PSU) inside computer)

Cool

ill get that sorted in a bit thx man :)

yeah they should work together, as long as the psu can handle it, you may want to consider spending slightly more on this
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150481

its the same card a\but from xfx who are reliable and offer a lifetime warranty, but it will cost you $30.00 more

if you can strech around 60 more you can get a 5850 which would be better

Ehhh it's so hard to strech I might have to stick with the one I posted. I'm trying to convince my parents but it's not easy lol.
