New laptop required!!

Hi guys, im looking for a new lap top and have £400 set aside for one. I need to use this for college aswell as doing the usual(film download fast surfing etc...) The spec i would like is:-
* above a 2ghz processor
*around 320(or higher) hard drive
*2gb(3+ if pos) ram
*high def output & card reader if pos.

I have been lucking around and have come across an acer roma 4001 for £399

any ideas????

Oh and needs to be wireless... been reading up on the asus range, would that be a better choice?? if so which one would be the one to go for??

a) what will you be using it for, and i mean, what is improtant for you, battery life, graphics card (i.e. play games), so on. budget a bit tough but

it all depends on what you want, if you want power rather than time will have to give up the GHz, but i you increase the budget a bit, for example 100 pounds, you could get both to a certain extent.

The laptops that i put down, was just a 2 sec look at the websites. just to show what you could get for the money.
