ok basically i got a new GT 220 graphics cards and tried installing it, i installed it, got the drivers, downloaded them and the color red on my screen just stopped working, i've done everything i know to fix this, including changing a cable, any idea on how to fix this, hope my card isn't broken =/.

So everything works exact the color red? Can you use other cables (as in DVI/VGA/HDMI) with converters or on another monitor. I'd say more than likely it's something with the screen itself.

well i got a new cable and tried it again, still nothing, worst part is i cant even take the thing out to see if my integrated graphics has the same issues, and i only have a VGA cable.

Did you remove your old drivers?

What were you using for a GPU before? Did your monitor work before. Basically is the only new/ changed item the GPU?

my monitor was working perfectly before it, the only new item is the GPU, i made sure it was compatible with my motherboard, it is, my old graphic card was integrated, would i need to uninstall its drive and if so, how would i do that? not that much of a computer pro heh :P

tried it, took out my gt220, uninstalled my drive, was working with the motherboards graphics, turned it off, had my drivers for the GT already installed put back the GT, turned it on with my fingers crossed and proceeded to cuss my ass of since nothing had changed, take note, it's working amazing...just no red.

Did you buy it new or used? Do you know anyone who has a spare card you can try?

The last thing that I can think of before you replace that card is to look at your connection. The card will put out red on this pin, look for a loose or damaged pin. Follow it to the card and see if you can see any damage? Keep in mind I am not a GPU repair man but it is worth a shot.
