Which Laptop is better???

i'd like you to decifer between 15 inches and 17 (see which 15 inch is better then, which 17 is better, don't compare 15 to 17)

i'm confused with the i3 processor. is it better than dual core or core 2 duo?
also wat is 3MB L3 cache??
i'm very big on speed, handling, and visuals(not a gamer but want a nice clear screen)

help would be greatly appreciated..
 
Im just curious to know, are these the only laptops you are choosing from, and is your price limit only $500?
Also, what do you need the laptop for? Just like school work.. or actual gaming?

If it is going to be used for more gaming use, you should try looking at an actual desktop computer, but if you insist on a laptop, try looking here:

But if only interested in basic stuff, the HP laptops you are looking at should be fine.

Wow. HP and Gateway. The 2 least reliable brands for the last 2+ years. Do you really wanna go THERE?

Dude, you gotta kinda work with the guy, you just recommended a laptop that starts off being like 600$ more then the ones he is looking at. I like your taste but lets try and hit the guys price range here. He did not specify his price but the four computers that are listed are in the same range so I will assume that is where he is trying to go with.

HP and Gateway are not build with the best care and what I mean by that is the brand of there hardware is crap i.e. motherboard, ram, hdd. People may get on hear and start bashing Dell but I have owned many Dells that are still running like the day I bought them and some of them are going on 5 years old (3 laptop and a netbook). Plus on this message board there are less Dell problems that pop up compared to HP or gateway so the evidence is there, people just hate on Dell cause they are a major company that took off back in the day with the whole dude your getting a Dell commercials. I just bought the Dell in my signature from best buy and I would not trade it for any other laptop.

I will recommend a Dell as well but this one is more in your price range.
