My brand new, $1000 HP laptop from costco wont connect to the wifi at the motel where we are at but my daughters $300 acer will...
I have had this computer for a few months and have been in many hotels and all of them connected fine as it does at home, but here it wont, i have to move to another location closer to the router for it to work
This is extremely frustrating that her very cheap computer will and mine wont, i ran the program that tries to resolve the issue and it just tells me to find the router, etc., meaning that it isnt connecting..
Any ideas how i can make my allegedly far better computer work as well as the cheapest computer in the world? can you tell i am frustrated
someone said something about "search for networks" being shut off, but if it was it wouldnt connect for me when i move closer to the router, so that cant be it, right...
both have windows 7
