2.Motherboard: ASUS M4A785TD-V EVO AM3
3.Hard Disk: Western Digital 320 GB 7200 rpm
4.RAM: 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 1333 MHz Kingston Value RAM KVR1333D3N9/2G
5.Monitor: Samsung 20-inch SyncMaster B2030 Widescreen Monitor
6.Graphics Card : ZOTAC GeForce 260 GTX
7.PSU : Cooler Master 600W
When I play FarCry 2, I get quite high frame rates around 55-60 (in ultra high settings), but I don't know why I'm getting a lot of texture pop-in...the rocks far away, the grass nearby, the shadows of bushes as I appraoch them, small rocks and pebbles on the ground- many things changing textures both near and far...I also play battlefield: bad company 2, but I haven't yet got so much pop-in texture although that game serves a nice dish of aliasing and the anti-aliasing doesn't seem to work in BC2.
Now, why is so much texture pop-in occurring? Is it a hardware problem?the texture pop-ins in FC2 is quite annoying...let me tell you, my hard disk isn't super fast hard disk, its just ordinary hard disk that even PCs which are not for gaming use...also,is it a graphics card problem?got no idea about the cause of texture pop-ins...so plz enlighten me...thanks

Pop in tends to be more based on the game itself rather than the hardware. If you're playing it on higher settings, then options for longer draw distances are already enabled. Some games will just look bad, regardless of how good your hardware is. Not saying FC2 is bad looking, but you're likely just encountering game engine limitations.

Ya, maybe its just the game engine limitations, but is the hardware never responsible for any type of texture pop in?is there any way in which I can be sure that my hardware doesn't have any problem?coz sometimes I find the texture pop ups(even shadows) quite annoying...
