GTX 460 not only beats HD5830, but the GTX 460 (1GB version) beats GTX 465 in most benchmarks, while consuming less power.

I think GTX 460 is the new 8800GT from nvidia

hmm nice,i wonder if my Q6600 @ 3.5Ghz will be a bottleneck to the GTX 460?

EDIT:Damn nice price on the 460s here,i was expecting them to be at least £230-250.

When 5830 at £180, probably could ignore GTX 460 at that price point...

I make the GTX460 just over £150 ;) http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/768M...Shader-Clock-1350MHz-336-Cores-DVI-D-Sub-HDMI

Obviously the "better" ones, as in ones from more major manufacturers are dearer, but that is still a great price seeing as how the cheapest 5830 from scan is £164

Yeah im intrested in getting one,DX11 and i could overclock it,although it would have to be the 1Gb model,768mb...what a stupid amount to put on a card.

Like i said though, you guys think my Q6600 @ 3.5Ghz would bottleneck it?

What makes it stupid? Some people arent gaming at 1920x1200, and don't need the extra vram. The 1Gb models have a larger memory bus though, which does provide an advantage.

Personally...not enough of a performance boost over a gtx285 for me to consider upgrading to. I'll wait until i see what ATi offers in their next generation of cards.

Would GTA IV can be maxed out on my GTX 275 since it VRAM is also 896MB only.

The 8800GTX was also 768MB right?
