slow internet at random times

i have comcast and everything was good for a while. i pay for 12mb down and i was getting about 17 down. then about two days ago i was getting 4 or 5mb down or less. since then i have had multiple comcast techs out and the cant figure it out. i tried switching modems, power cycles, and plugging in directly to the modem. the tech also switched out all the old splitters. now i am still getting the super slow speed and cannot figure out what is wrong with it. if you have any ideas please say them. thanks.
 
Have you tried a different computer to make sure its not yours? Did they do a line test?
 
its like this on all computers and they said my signal is very good its just the speed is doing some weird things
 
Check out this article, read it all the way down, maybe you'll find your answer there and, more importantly, you'll realize why Comcast "can't" do anything :mad:
 
You said strong signal, so i assume you are using wireless. have you tried connecting using an ethernet cable? wireless can be flakey at times.
