Hey guys, I feel there is something wrong with my computer. I have a Dell Dimension 2400 (Specs in sig), running with an ATI Radeon X1300 video card in the pci slot. I CANNOT run warrock without lagging at even the lowest resolution and lowest settings (640x480). I am also updated to he Lastest Catalyst driver for the X1300 (Version 10.2)

Could it be my Power Supply not supplying enough power?

Symptoms of a PSU going out would not include lagging during gaming so that should be fine. What are the specs of that graphics card? And what are the minimum system requirements for that game? (i've never heard of it). It looks like your system probably isn't powerful enough to run the game. Lagging is usually an indication of that.

Ah, my computer is more than enough to run the game at 1024x768 on med settings, but its just not fulfilling that. I've read in places that if you have a borderline power requirement psu, that it could affect the processing power of your video card.

I am trying to run an x1300 on a 250w psu (Dell premade).

Hmm well I have not read that before, which doesn't mean that it isn't true but I have just never heard of that happening. The thing is though a 230W PSU should be plenty to power that card. Were you at one point in time able to run that game on medium settings with your current system specs?

I am able to run the game @ 1024x768 on medium settings for a bit, but then it starts to slow down and I have to lower the settings.

The card is probably overheating as I don't think the video card has a cooling fan on it, correct? Might want to try relacing the card.

I believe it is passively cooled.

It probably is, and I can't tell because well... because it is passively cooled :P
