I can't see administrator account

Hi all.
I have this msi netbook, I can't see the administrator account in the welcome screen, yet if I try to create an user account name administrator it wouldn't allow me. it sait the administrator account already exist. I try to use other way to login to windows and type administrator and try the usual password. it said incorrect login name or password. is there a way that I can change this? I do have administrator right with other user name. if the adminiustrator account do exist, why it don't show on the welcome screen? can it been hidden? the computer use windows XP sp3. this bring another question.

As owner of the computer. Can I hide the administrator account from other user with the administrator rights? it would be able to allow the other user with the administrator right to install or uninstall programs, but wouldn't allow other user to delete or change the administrator password?

Dude the Administrator account do exist but it is not shown in the Windows welcome screen. But you have two ways of logging in there. First when the welcome screen comes press ctrl+alt and type two times delete, then when the windows classic welcome screen comes type Administrator and you are logged in. Second way: Restart your computer and see in the screen menu which button you should press for boot menu (usually is Tab or F8 sometimes other (depends of the type of motherboard)), then go to safe mode press it, wait a little time, and at last you will see windows welcome screen with all accounts including Administrator
