What does it all mean???

I'm doing some comparison shopping for motherboard for my first PC build. One that I am looking at is called the:

ASUS Rampage iii Gene LGA 1366 Intel x58 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard.

But I want to know what that all means? Like is there a way to break that long name down to tell what it does or what it's good for?

While i know that most distributors list the specs of the motherboards on the web-sights, It'd be nice to understand what it all means >.<

Thanks!!! :]

ASUS Rampage iii Gene- name of model and manufacturer
LGA 1366- socket type
Intel- cpu type
x58- chipset
SATA 6Gb/s- features involving the hard drives
USB 3.0- another feature. it is the new usb type (much faster than 2.0)
Micro ATX- size of motherboard

Oh wow that was a lot of help! How so i know if it fits in a case that I'm also looking at? Is that where the Micro ATX comes in?

OK new question. I've found two Motherboard/Processor bundles on Tigerdirect. Same price, but I cannot decide which is the better Motherboard. Both bundles come with the same Processor, but one Motherboard is a Biostar, and the other is an ASUS. Side by side they seem to have a lot of the same features, I just can't decide.

ALso, Is $319 a good deal?

are you looking to use the onboard graphics?

well yes and no. Some of the games I'm looking to play are pretty demanding graphics-wise if i want to really play them to their potential. So I was going to use that one, along with my Nvidia GeForce 8800 Gt graphics card if that was possible. I've heard of people using two graphics cards to balance the graphics but can you do that with an integrated graphics card as well?

since the onboard graphics is ati, you can't use it with the 8800gt in a sli or crossfire configuration.
