You have graphics on board, so you can connect it to a monitor, with a VGA cord. But if you want HDMI, or to be able to do anything graphic strenuous like gaming, you will need a card.

that board has hdmi out.

but to run any new game at even medium settings at a somewhat high resolution (1689x1050 or higher) you'll want to get a different gpu for it.
