Video Card for Video Editing Suggestions

Just as the title states, I need a video card for video editing. I am currently running off of the MB via HDMI. This new card will also have to run off of HDMI. I would like it to also have audio out via HDMI, but it is not needed. Especially if it will hurt the video card in the end. I'm not quite sure what a good card would run me, but I'm okay with spending a little over $100 USD. My best shopping source is Newegg, so please have some suggestions from them.

I am running:
Windows 7 64bit
M3N78-VM MB
OCZ ModXstream-Pro 700W PSU
4GB RAM
and will be editing with Studio 14 Ultimate as well as Adobe Photoshop and After Effects.

Thank you in advance, Peter!

Thank you for the suggestion and the link! Anyone else have any suggestions? If not, I'll pull the trigger on this one.

Thank You, Peter!

So are y'all stating that the GTS250 would still be my better choice? Or should I go with one suggested by BurningSkyline?

Thanks for the help BTW.

Alright... it looks like I'm going for the GTS 250... Computer gaming really isn't my thing. I just use my rig for video editing and watching HD movies via mkv files... Hopefully this will increase the vid quality of those as well... even though the on board card does the job well... oh and BTW... any of you know what this will increase my performance numbers to? I'm getting a 4.1 or 4.9 (can't remember which) because of the video card and 3D rendering...

Either way... thanks you guys!

Have you made your purchase yet? If not, tell me what program you'll use for video editing

Sorry for reviving an old thread... but I still have not picked up a vid card yet. (just been lazy) I have ran across a Best Buy gift card. Could anyone point me in the direction of something comparable at Best Buy? I have $75 worth of gc there and will still be willing to toss ~$125 at the card on top of the $75.

Thanks in advance, Peter!
