Is it possible to build a computer at $300 something dollars

My uncle has built a computer at around 300 something dollars. I don't know what he used to build it. Hopefully I'll find out soon. But could it be done without the parts being cheaply made? Could it really be on sale for that cheap? Supposedly it's fast and good for gaming. But I have my doubts just wanted to see if it's possible nowadays.

If you have the video card than yeah you can build one for around 300 dollars, I just built one for 270, that includes the case, hard drive, cpu, cpu fan, cpu thermal paste, network switch, motherboard and the ram.

I am using a lightscribe dvd reader/writer I had, a power supply I had and a video card I had.

Sure it won't be able tor run crisis but for 270, its ALOT better than what you would get from a retail store a couple hundred dollars more.
