This is what I currently have
Processer AMD Athlom 64 X2 Dual Core Processer 6000+ 3.00 GHz
RAM 3 GB
64x OS
Current Graphic card NVIDA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430

Looking to upgrade my graphic card to play some games, not sure what's compatible with what I have, if you need anymore info, let me know.

Welcome to CF...

One of the most important things when deciding what graphics card to get...is to consider your power supply and what card it can run. What power supply do you have?

What is your budget and what country are you located in? That will help people find you the best deal.

My power suply is

Output - +12V - 15A Max
Max power - +5V -20A Max
300W - +3.3V - 18A Max

I live in the US and my budget is preferably around $200

Which one of them is the best graphics card? I'm assuming it's the 5830, but I've been wrong before. I'm a hardware noob but hey I'm trying. Thanks for all your help sofar.

The 5830 and the GTX 460 are going to be about the same, one is made by ATI (5830) and the other by Nvidia.

Really depends on which company you want to go with.

Alright guys one last question, Does having 32x or 64x windows effect your graphics performance? I was talking to someone a while back and he said it did, but I've never really noticed a difference.

A 460 beats a 5830. The 768mb one isn't much better, but the 1GB version blows it away because it has 256bit memory, as aposed to 128 bit of the 768mb version. The extra price of the 1GiB over the 768MB is worth it

No, x64 and x86 windows makes no difference to graphics performance, the only real difference between x86 and x64 is that x86 only supports up to 4GiB of memory (in reality only ~3.25GiB), 64 bit it is, for todays standards, near enough unlimited

=EDIT=

for the PSU, go for:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817207007

Instead. After MIR and promo code it is similar price to the list daisy but together, but it is a hell of alot better than any which daisy linked
