Which Video Card with $250 Limit

Phenom II 1055T Thuban Six-Core Processor

GIGABYTE GA-890XA-UD3 Motherboard Socket AM3 - $120

If you had a $250 price limit what is the best video card you could get?

if you/they aren't looking to do a multiple gpu setup, i'd say get a gtx 460. but if that is something you/they are interested in, then go with a 5830 or, if you can find a good deal/can spend a little more, go with a 5850.

yep that is a pretty good card. but if you can spend a little more than $250 and get a 5850, i think it would be worth the extra money over the 5830 (in my opinion).

If you're only getting a single card....go for a 460 1GB.

definitely. but like i said, if you want to do a crossfire setup down the road, go with the 5830 or the 5850.

Honestly, by that point i would say wait for the HD6000 series to come out from AMD.
