Is it me, or has the new design of Google made it a much slower service? The images seem to be really lagging and this instant search plays havoc when I have my laptop running on power-saver battery mode :mad: I disable it but it never remembers the settings and just wondering if im the only one who is experiencing a much slower Google than before?
 
I haven't really noticed it. Although I did like the old images better, the live results are fine with me.

not me. to be honest, i actually like the new google images layout. makes searching through a bunch of images much faster...

Getting to it (images) from an already performed google search is a PITA though. I can't figure out how to switch over to images without going back to the main google page and searching again :mad:

What? There is the bar at the top, just hit images? Or your's must be different?

Yes i do think its slowed it down,and i hate the new Image layout thing they have going on,Half of the images never load for me anymore.:mad:

Wish there was a way to revert back to the old style.

Thats the same problem i have,could be that it's only us English thats having the problem.Sorry the Scots as well.haha
 
I've got no problems at all, haven't noticed speeds change. For some reason though the computers at college have the old image search thing and going back to it, I don't like it as much
 
I have no problem with speed.. the only problem I encountered is my mouse.. sometimes I don't even know when to put my mouse for it instantly enlarge the photo.. :)

I have no problems at all. I do also like the old set-up better. I'm still trying to get used to the new things they added. It's not bad though. :)
 
Love the images part, especially on my new monitor. Not too keen on the whole Live Search crap. I don't need live results, when searching I like to query not have it guess while I'm still thinking what I'd like to type!
 
I don't get any slow-downs, but the recent changes can be pretty annoying.

You search and Google Instant makes it a PITA (since the page transforms and changes all the time with every letter you type), then more-and-more the results are filled with images, news results and Twitter results.
