Internet Explorer 9!!!

so who's tried out the beta so far? to be honest, i do really like it. compared to google chrome, it is pretty impressive. a couple things i don't like thus far though:
1) whenever you click a link, you get the ugly dotted line outlining the link and it usually won't go away until clicking elsewhere. never had that problem with chrome so i am really annoyed by that.
2) chrome does a nice thing where after having the tab sizes resized to allow more tabs to fit at the top, if you close one, it will have all tabs keep that size until you move the cursor away from the tab bar, making closing tabs EXTREMELY convenient. but ie resizes them as soon as you close one. small thing but i really am annoyed by that.
3) google chrome would let you type a url until it recognized it and then allow you to press tab to utilize the search engine at that url (i often use that for newegg and it just makes things go faster and makes everything easier).

some things i do like:
1) scrolling is smooth as hell. not sure about firefox or ie8 but chrome is extremely jittery and just doesn't look like you are really moving the page itself.
2) this:

I didnt try it but i dont really like beta versions on anything so i'll be waiting for the real thing. :D

Generally I do not like IE but this looks quite a bit better than their previous versions. I might have to give it a try. Hopefully MS has figured out their security as well.

I'll use it, just as soon as Microsoft stops pretty much integrating it into the OS, so stupid BS can attack my system easier. Firefox will be my main go-to browser until then.

Internet Explorer 9 :eek Looks very stylish will definantly look into this one upon release.

yeah i'd bet there are plenty of things they'll fix for the final release (hopefully some of them are ones i have mentioned :P).

anyone want screenshots of anything in particular?

One thing i know IE needs asap is an addon like adblock plus for firefox i am using a public computer right now on ie 6 or 7 and the amount of ads on here is unbelievable.

the tab menu isn't very customizable now since you can't manually add or pin things there. that kind of sucks. to be honest, ie is going to have to fix quite a few things before i decide to use it more than chrome :(

Not interested. No matter how many versions IE will have, It'll always be crap. I'll always use Firefox.
