Hello, and thanks for reading

I currently have this pc (different than the other one):(doesn't show up in my sig for some reason)

Acer Aspire m1610

Motherboard - Acer F672CR (Socket 775)
CPU - Intel Pentium E2140 Dualcore @ 1.60GHz
Memory - 2GB DDR2 Hyundai (2x 1gb)
Graphics - ATI Radeon HD 2400 PRO
Hard Drives - 313/625gb WD Caviar
DVD Drives - ATAPI DVD A DH16A1P
Power Supply - Dunno
23" Samsung widescreen @ 1920x1080
OS - MS Windows XP Home 32-bit SP3

and i think that if i upgrade my cpu, that i can play the more modern games again, because canyourunit.com always says that my graphics card is OK, but that my cpu is holding me back. Is this true?

I have a socket 775, so i thought maybe one of these? (sorry for belgian site)
I want to spend money as little as possible, so i don't know what processor would be good to go with my graphics card, or if it's going to do any good.
I maybe thought about this one

Also, i'll be sure to read the "how to build a pc" topic very good, and also this page, so i won't do anything wrong.

Never mind the following quote, i just saw that the card is an AGP
And lastly, i have an older Ati graphics card from an other pc, can i use Crossfire so I can improve my graphics? I think my mobo supports it, (weird) source (footwear?). Is there a test that i can take to see if i support it?

Thanks in advance, i really appreciate the effort you guys (and galls) put into this ^^

OCZ 4 GB DDR3-1333 Kit (Light-Retail, OCZ3P1333LV4GK, Platinum Edition)
Samsung HD103SJ (Boxed, SpinPoint F3)
Antec Three Hundred (Retail)
OCZ Fatal1ty 550W (Retail)
GigaByte GV-N460OC-1GI (Retail, 2x DVI-I, Mini HDMI)

What do you think about it?

also, do i need to buy extra cables?

Also, i think i'm going to get Windows 7 home premium 64bit, is this a good choice? I want to use all of my 4gb of ram. Is 64bit ok for gaming?
