Sweet. I'm going to be measuring ambient temps in my room to see if I need better cooling or Liquid.

Also, How much more would it cost to get SATA 3, USB 3.0, and x16 slots? People are saying they run at x8
 
Using one X16 slot (single GPU), the graphics card will run at 16X. If you SLI 2 GPUs in the future both will run at 8X. Honestly I doubt that you could tell the difference between 8X & 16X anyway. Performance hit is < 10%.
 
Your MB choices are limited because you've chosen a NVIDIA GPU. I chose a MB that supports SLI which would give you the option to add another GTX 460 in the future. Since ATI is a subsidiary of AMD, most AMD MBs support CrossFire rather than SLI. Don't get me wrong, the GTX 460 is a solid GPU choice, (I've got one coming from Newegg as I type), but it limits your MB choices, (if you want an SLI option).
 
Here's two with SLI support and X16/X16 bus. I don't think there are any AM3 MBs with SLI support, USB 3.0, and SATA 6 GB/s made. :(

If you want USB 3.0 and SATA 6 GB/s then you should consider an ATI GPU choice. Equivalent of the GTX 460 is an HD 5850, but they cost a little more than the GTX 460.

for the motherboard, i personally would recommend going with ati and an amd chipset. as far as i know, there aren't any nvidia chipsets with sata 6 gb/s and/ or usb 3.0. i know the gtx 460 is an absolutely solid and excellent card, but if you want usb 3.0, i'd just go with something like a 5830 or 5850 and an amd chipset.
EDIT: maybe this one you can spend more to get a better one but i am not sure what your budget is at this point. if you can go way higher, i'd DEFINITELY go with the board in my sig :good:

pci-e 8x will not have any really noticeable effect on your gaming performance.

What if I put in a PhysX card?

Anyways, would It be possible to get a SATA 3 board, and a USB 3.0 PCI/PCI-e card?
