2.0 vs 2.1

2.1 is + 0.1 more ... have you got any details? What are you talking about? Speakers?

Great answer, lol considering i erased the all but the title. I had found my answer. pci 2.1 is backwards compatible with 2.0

Thinkin about a video boost for onboard hd 4290 in this upgrade board. 5xxx series is supposed to work. Taking crash course in whats what about them (article searches), and what would give it a boost vs. overpowered card which would make the onboard usless. i know the 4290 has a lot of ocing headroom, if that makes a diff.

i dont play 3d games, but company might. so looking in the $75ish range if possible. Due to case size i have about 8-8.5 inches to work with, and altho full height im sure would be ok, id prefer low profile. one troulble is some card deminsions not being on the details, then i have to search around to see if i can find it. perhaps there's a standard size if it's not discripted? Here! take a look in this cart and give me you opinions and reccommendations pls. Im thinkkin too bad the 4870 combo card wont fit, at least it seems like a good deal (per my feeble brain).:)

In case you're talking about speakers, 2.0 is simply two speakers. 2.1 is two speakers plus a sub/amp box :)
