New Build Finished

My new build is finished and it is sweet! Thanks so much to those who helped in this process.

Is there anything to be aware of after everything is set up? I'd like to check the temperature of the processor and have no idea how to do it and what a "good" temperature is.

Well you will want the "vital" software. You can get all of it for free here:

just look at the blue links under the headings you need.

To check your temperatures, download HWMonitor from here:

http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html

so long as when your system is just sat there your CPU isn't over mid 40s or less idle are reasonable temperatures, it will vary from processor to processor, and without knowing which specific CPU you have, can't tell you too well what sort of temperatures you will be looking at
