Best GTX 460?

What model GTX 460 would you suggest buying?

And I don't mean 768MB or 1GB versions, I mean which card from which Manufacturer
 
That's right, I had the EVGA, and I installed the Gigabyte for a friend and I couldn't believe the temp. difference. Although the EVGA is pretty quite, I never noticed it over my case fans.
 
I have a cyclone 460gtx and I am happy with it so far. The idle temp stays around 35 and tops out at 61 in stock form and is quiet. Downloaded the latest driver straight from msi after install and had no problems.
 
I just got one of the EVGA 01G-P3-1373-AR Superclocked 1 GB with external exhaust and am really amazed with the performance - Easily outperforms my pair of Crossfired 4870s.

I'm concerned about the heat produced by a pair in SLI since I'll be adding another soon and my i7-950 tends to run a little warm anyway. Unlike the cards without external exhaust nearly all the heat is exhausted out of the case. Lifetime warranty and trade up program also.
 
There isn't a "best", they are all the same. Only thing that differs is the cooling, warranty and support, some make minor changes to the PCB, and some are factory overclocked, that is it.

Honestly I would say go with whichever is cheapest,

is $220 before $20 MIR and comes with lifetime warranty. No point really in lifetime warranty because the card will only last 3 years or so before it is outdated, but if you put it in a backup system, folding system, for spares or whatever else, it is good to have, especially if you claim 5 years down the line and get a mid ranged latest and greatest which outperforms it because the 460's aren't being produced any more ;)

unless someone cares to prove evga is an inferior quality gpu brand, i don't see a reason not to recommend them.

They aren't...?
 
I would say Hawk because of the higher quality components, however the cooler doesn't cool your memory or MOSFET, so you will have to be careful of the temps of those if overclocking, as temperature readings only show your core temps, not other components on the board.

After that, the Gigabyte card for the extra warranty and better cooling solution over the EVGA card
