Hallo everyone at Computer Forum!

I'm just curious if a single ZOTAC GEFORCE GTX 480 1536MB PCI-E can be power by an CORSAIR TX 950W ATX12V 2.2 / EPS12V power supply?
Since I have little experience in amps, volts and the total wattage I could really need some help/advice.

:confused:Q1 - Does the ''CORSAIR TX 950W'' have enough amps, volts and total wattage to power a single ''ZOTAC GEFORCE GTX 480''?

:confused:Q2 - Or even two ''ZOTAC GEFORCE GTX 480''?

I would really appreciate if someone could help me out, ''Q1'' is my main question.

That PSU could power 2 or 3 easily.
Thank you linkin for your reply!

:confused:Q3 - Does it mater if the PSU is ''ATX12V 2.2'' or ''ATX12V 2.3'' compatible? Does that have any affect on the hardware/ graphics card?

Really all the V2.2 was, adding the 8 pin PCIe power connector. V2.3 increased the efficiency requirements and I think added the amount of amps that could be loaded on a rail.

it is way more than enough - you could do that on 600w

Which 600W - wattage means very little!

What is the rest of your system specs?

The 480 will draw around 21A at full throttle - without any OC.

The 950W Corsiar will deliver 78A (12V rail), so as you can all see, it could quickly be maxed out with 2 or 3 x 480s. However loads for this system.
