GTX 460 question.

If I used to have a VGA card, will I be able to connect the GTX 460 to my system? If it says I'll get a HDMI adapter with the card, can I stick my VGA into it? I don't really get this with connectors and such, that you would have to buy new wires to replace the old ones with etc.

Thanks

wait, so do you mean you replaced your old card with the 460 and are not sure how to connect the monitor? do you mean rgb (blue ended cable usually). if so, you should be able to get an adapter for it. if the above is correct, what monitor are you trying to connect?

Didn't replace it, but I think I'm getting it, and it's HDMI, but my current rgb is VGA. I was wondering if I had to replace the cable and buy like a new one, but if I wouldn't get an adapter then what sort do I need to buy, that's the thing

i'd get a dvi to rgb adapter:

or a dvi cable (depends if your monitor supports it though):

what monitor is it? and do you have a link to the card you got/want to get?

It's an LG '21. And I'm currently in Sweden, so you'll have to translate this page: http://www.inet.se/artikel/5408902/gigabyte-geforce-gtx-460-1gb-oc
