Hi
I am going to build a new pc with these specs:

cpu - AMD Phenom II X4 970 Black Edition Quad Core CPU
motherboard - Asus M4A77T Socket AM3 AMD 770 Motherboard
Graphics card - HIS ATI Radeon HD 5770 1GB
RAM - 4GB Kingston Hyper-X 1600MHz DDR3 Dual Channel Memory Kit
HDD - 500GB Western Digital Caviar Green 3.5" Hard Disk Drive
Case - Coolermaster CM 690 II Advanced

Just wondering what the best and most affordable psu would be to run this set up and do I need a seperate cpu cooler?
Thanks

Are you from US?

Good quality -
SeaSonic SS-650HT OEM $60

cheap -
OCZ ModXStream Pro OCZ500MXSP 500W $60, 10% off promotion, MIR $20

Cooler - are you OC your CPU? If no, just use stock heatsink. If yes, CPU go for cheaper 955/ 965 and get heatsink

No, I'm from England and yes, I am going to overclock the cpu.
I was just wondering the best psu really because I don't really know what the good brands are and why you pay extra for psu's with the same power.

PSU - you need to have a good quality one. For example, some unbranded or crap PSU claimed they have 500W, but they actually can't manage to output that much of watt.

*** PROMO *** OCZ StealthXStream 2 500W Power Supply

** it only has 1 x 6-Pin PCI-E, if you want a better Video card in future, you'll better get something with 2 PCI-E.

What is the budget for your heatsink?
May be cheap Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus?
