Here's the message that comes up as soon as I load my user:

There was a problem starting
C:\Users\PROTOK~1\AppData\Local\Temp\p1pba52h1.dll

The specified module could not be found.

Any idea what this is about and where i can get a replacement? The message popping up whenever I start up is getting REALLY annoying and it doesn't seem to effect anything.

Looks like you have been infected. Please perform the following procedure.

Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from here or here and save it to your desktop.
  • Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
  • At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to
    • Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
    • and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
  • then click Finish.
  • If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version. Please keep updating until it says you have the latest version.
  • Once the program has loaded, select Perform quick scan, then click Scan.
  • When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
  • Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
  • A log will be saved automatically which you can access by clicking on the Logs tab within Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware

If you continue to experience problems after doing this, please post a HijackThis log by doing the following:

Download the HijackThis installer from here.
Run the installer and choose Install, indicating that you accept the licence agreement. The installer will place a shortcut on your desktop and launch HijackThis.

Click Do a system scan and save a logfile

Most of what HijackThis lists will be harmless or even essential, don't fix anything yet.

Post the logfile that HijackThis produces along with the Malwarebytes Anti-Malware log

We will manually remove that error if this procedure doesn't do it.

thank you! I've been infected before so just tore apart the program in safe mode so since it stopped doing anything, i ignored it ^^

You still could be infected and not know it as many infections are hidden. So why not do the procedure so we can make sure you are clean? Plus we can get rid of your error on startup.

And it's fixed! Found some trojans and trackers. How do you know there was an infection?

Because I'm very good at what I do.

Please follow all instructions and post both malwarebytes log and hijackthis log. Even after doing this you still may be infected, but I can't tell unless I see the logs.
