Hello all I am looking to purchase a watercooling custom loop for my

Asus rampage 3 northbridge
i7 980x
xfx 5970 BE
and my gtx 460

newegg is really limited to watercooling supplies so what is another good site to order from?

thanks for your help

I know you may not consider it "my place" to bud in, but should you really be messing with water cooling if you don't even understand the concept of barb and fitting sizes? Also, you're trying to mix aluminum with copper blocks which supports the fact that you should probably research much more in depth before jumping into water.

Put simply, water is only for people doing extreme overclocking, pushing things so far that air can't simply handle it. (Water cooling is also significantly quieter, but that's near null with the quality of today's fans). As of yet you have not mentioned any overclocking, and I'm willing to bet your stock fans will keep everything cool.

You havn't mentioned temps yet either. Regardless, If your system isn't being kept cool with stock, I would recommend you move on up to a decent air cooling system, if that fails, there are still a variety of other solutions to your problem, and water is near last resort.

I do hope you'll reconsider.

yes i will be overclocking my gpu and cpu once i get watercooling. I've been looking for research on the different size fittings and what they do, but it seems like everyone just argues one is better than the other without saying what is what lol

so currently i'm on a crash course of trial and error for my first water cooling loop.... which is not a good idea but no way else to learn right?

my current temps on stock are low 20s idle and 100% 50s i OC my cpu to 4ghz and the temps were @ 80s i would like to try 4.5ghz... but no way to do that with my stock cooler

Are there any advantages to going the water cooling way on a non-overclocked system that might not necessarily be used for gaming?

I would advise against frozencpu, they seem to have inflated shipping prices. Check at sidewindercomputers.com or jab-tech.com. What are you trying to do here? silence or temperature control? And lastly, what kind of a case do you have?
