Please look at this build....ready to order

how is going down to the taskbar easier than just looking at a gadget on the desktop in the upper right hand corner?

EDIT: well i guess it could be a little easier if you are only running one monitor.

True :( I only have my 1, 27"... But back to the subject I like What 31!m!n80r Sugested :)

Thanks for all the great responses. I actually ended up deciding not to attempt the build on my own. I found a store that specializes in in custom builds locally. Their prices were actually pretty competitive with Newegg's. I ended up going with this:

CPU: I7 930
GPU: Nvidia GTX 460 (going to add a second one in a few weeks when I have the $$$)
Motherboard: ASUS not sure which exact, but SLI/Crossfire compatible
Case: Antec 900
PSU: Thermaltake 750w
RAM: 6gb 1600 mhz
DVD RW
12 in 1 media
DLink internal wireless adapter

It ended up going over budget by a couple hundred. My total with tax and build fee was around $1,450. I'm thinking I got a pretty great deal since I'm also getting a one year warranty on all parts. Because I had it built by the company, when I want to add the extra vid card later, they will do it for free as long as I purchase the card from them.

I also plan to run the OS from a SSD later, but didn't have the money to add that in yet.
