Okay guys, assume I have $200 AUD to spend on my rig. How should I go about spending that on this rig? I'm thinking a better CPU, what do you think?

Can't use paypal, so preferably www.pccasegear.com.au

Solid State drive,Even if you upgrade your Cpu which imo is pointless because it should handle pretty much anything you throw at it,Your current spinning drive is always going to be the bottleneck of your system :/

Id highly recommend a OCZ Vertex 2,but they only have the 120Gb version on that site by the looks of it and its $$,But that Corsair one looks good and you will have spare change. :)

Trust me,That upgrade will be the best you will ever do if you do get an SSD :)

I would swap the power supply first, get rid of that junk that you have now with something half decent. Better to have something solid giving the power, than something good receiving the crap power and being at risk

The Aussie dollar is higher than the US dollar!!!

If only newegg shipped to Australia, that'd be so awesome. Right now, I want to buy internationally and get cheap dual GTX 460's. Although the bad thing is, adding on cost of postage will then equal total price in Aus.

EDIT: Sorry linkin, I thought this thread was a general discussion about people getting their next upgrade....... Sorry for hijacking your thread man.

Its because they still have to ship across the world to get it there. Downsides of living on a island.

It's a continent TYVM :P

Surrounded by water, island, but also a continent.

As Aastii said, go for a powersupply, but if you got leftover money should put it towards a graphics card that doesn't crap out on itself every 5 minutes haha:good:.

Well I ordered an OCZ Fatal1ty 550w yesterday. That's $84 gone and U don't have any more money yet :o

Having $200 to spend was hypothetical, not reality :(

@ Buzz anything is better than this thermaltake ;)

That OCZ is really not any better then the Thermaltake you already have. Send the thing back. See what Buzz can set you up with.

Either way, It's modular and the thermaltake isn't. Plus my brother is using a SHAW 860w... He's getting the thermaltake.
