Can I upgrade my CPU?

My computer right now works great, but for some higher end games, it gets very slow and my CPU cannot handle it. My video card and Ram are all up-to-date. I was wondering if I can (Or it would be worth it) to upgrade my CPU. Right now I have an Intel Pentium 4 CPU 3.40 GHz (2 CPUs) and my motherboard is a PCChips P25G. Thanks a lot

Just because you say they are up to date doesn't necessarily mean you have a decent video card. Please post what card you have and how much memory is installed. That board can only hold 2gb memory max. What operating system are you using?

Your board is so old and outdated and really can't put in a faster cpu. Can almost bet that its time for a new build.

Yeah I realize that... I have 2 Gbs of RAM and my video card is an ATI Raedon HD 4600 series. I am running XP home edition. (I love my XP, don't hate...)
