wait for sandybridge or build i base unit

hey guys ive got a two year old intel duo core cpu, which is getting a bit dated, im also keen to get a new mboard with usb 3, so is it worth building a new i7 unit or best to wait a couple months till intels new sandybridge range is released ?

You have a pretty nice build right there. I think that you'd be better off saving up for Sandy Bridge. You'll see a much larger performance jump from your current rig compared with upgrading to an i7.
