GTX 560 Detail

hey i'm wonder how much gtx 560 will cost? same? just like when 580 came out that the price did not go up compare to 480.
And how about the power supply?
Lastly is it worth it? i currently have gtx 460 768mb running at 1440X900. Runs all games at max setting without lags.
SHOULD I GET IT?

I don't believe they have listed specs yet.

Hopefully they will come soon. The 570 was released this week AFAIK and it is on par with a 480 performance wise. (Consumes less power as well, therefore it will produce less heat.)
 
I don't care if GOD made that PSU I am surpirsed that it hasn't taken your whole system out as it is, let alone put in a higher powered GPU.
 
What brand is the PSU? 475w, if it's a quality PSU, is more than enough wattage.

At 1440x900, a gtx460 can handle anything.

I'm pretty sure that the 560 with be an unlocked 460. It was suppose to become the gtx475, but Nvidia went straight to the 500 series with it.
All 460's only have 7 out of 8 SM's enabled. With the 8th enabled it will have 384 stream processors. The 560 will only come in a 1gb model though, so all will have 256 bit memory bus. Pricing should most likely be around $250.

If you stay with 1440x900, there's no point in an upgrade. If you plan to go to 1080p or better, you may want to consider it....although it won't be a ''huge'' upgrade on a moderate one. If you swung the extra cash for a 570, that would be a huge upgrade.
 
right now i dont feel a upgrade would do you any good...the 460 i have lags occasionally in crowded areas of wow...thats about it...its quite a solid card...id hold onto your money before it burns your pants off
 
I wonder if the 460 and 560 are the same card with the extra cluster enabled. can you say BIOS flash? :D
