Hello. I have now problem with the dual boot Windows XP and Windows 7. After formating my partition with windows XP, windows 7 doesn't show at the dual boot menu (it is like you have one OS). Is there anyway i can make windows 7 show in my boot menu or i must reformat it...??

I'd just install XP first, shrink the partition, then install 7. Then the 7 manager will take over. It'll be easier.

the first time i did that. But it came to this problem described at my first post... If i format Windows XP, Windows 7 disappear from the boot and it is impossible to recover it... But if you format windows 7, windows xp will disappear from boot menu but it is possible to recover it... This is like it was on my computer for yours i dont know...

That's your problem. You're formatting the drive.

You need to format the drive when you install XP. Then use a LiveCD like GParted once XP is installed, and shrink the XP partition to leave empty space for Windows 7. Then install Windows 7 on the empty partition and you'll be able to dual-boot the two operating systems.
