BSOD windows 7

i have been having the same problem... shall i go ahead and thread jack?

my problem started after i sent my pc back to manufacturer for hdd malfunctions...

they sent it back, said nothing was wrong with the hdd, but they updated bios... anyways, my hdd problem seemed to be straightened out, then i started getting random bsod's...

i am starting to think that whatever they did to bios, has messed me up.

@MrSleepin - It wo0uld probably have been a better idea to start your own thread because we don't want to hijack the OP.

Two of your error codes are 0x50 and the third is 0xA. Nothing definitive was cited but with the randomness of your BSODs, plus the fact that both these error codes can be caused by hardware one of which is memory, run Memtest on your RAM for a minimum of 7 Passes.

well i hate thread jacking... but at the same time i hate it on my other frequent forums when people post the same thread over and over again...

bsod problems seem to be a common question here... so why not keep all the good info/help in the same area so others dont have to search as hard to find answers.

anyways... i did the mem test, well i think i did... i typed "mem" into the search field in start menu, and i got a memory diagnostic tool.. i ran that several times... and each time, i got the same results... NO PROBLEMS WERE DETECTED.

soooooo.... what next slacker?

As a matter of fact, my problem is the same, i also did sent my MB to manufacturer (Asus), they also did updated bios, and my pc does random bsod, and after all this, when i restart my pc, it says something abou 'BOOTMGR' (<--- Or something like that) is corrupt. And when i load windows, it says " Windows files are loading " And pc restarts. So what the hell?

see! so there are more people with the same problem.... i am good with computers, but i do NOT know it all... any help here guys?

hi guys, I've been googling the web about my problem and this is how I found this thread.. I also got BSOD with a very similar rig to Wooxie2. (phenom II 955 be with corsair XMS3 dual channel 1333mhz).

I had this problem for two months trying to figure out the problem.. returned the RAM modules back to corsair and with the new one everything was fine..... that is, until I decided to install windows 7. Installation did not work and since then, even after formating the drive along with xp, the BSOD reappeared in the same old fashion. I would like to know if Wooshie got more bsod when his computer is cold because this is what's happening with mine.
Could win7 during the installation changed something in the bios? I thought so but even while returning to default value the bsod still occurs. I'm out of clue so if someone with that problem managed to get away with it I would love to know how he did it. (beside throwing it out of the window).
