i have a Dell Inspiron 530 non slim and i have a 520w PSU on the way just orderd now im going to buy a PNY GTS 450 this CARD
im just making sure before i order it that it will work in my computer is all. my friend that does computer stuff in collage said it will but id rather get some advise from people on here that have delt with this stuff for a wile. thanks

It should, not saying it will because of dells limitations on their motherboards they use. Your psu will be sufficient though.
 
Good choice on the PSU :)

The GTS 450 doesn't have unreasonably high power requirements, and the PCIe hardware doesn't really pay attention to what's plugged into it(that's more a software thing), so I don't see any reason why it won't work.
