My soon to be i7 Rig

Hi all stumbled across this forum from another PC site... I'm about to ( in January ) build a new i7 rig to replace my ancient 8 year old machine. Thankyou AMD64 you have served me well. Will be using this new beast for HD gaming, some encoding and some photoshop.

Here are the components with site codes where applicable, The Motherboard, Ram, GPU and HDD were all birthday presents so I cant change them & no chit chat about how OTT some of them are please lol. The rest of it .... comments and suggestions are very welcome

Case - NZXT Hush Black silent case - ebuyer 129993

PSU - Antec 520W Gamer PSU 80% Bronze - ebuyer 245671

Motherboard - EVGA X58 FTW3 - SATA/USB 3 - Look in Evga.com/products

CPU - Intel i7 930 2.8ghz - ebuyer 193596

CPU Cooler - ACF7 Pro - ebuyer 176157

RAM - OCZ 6GB DDR3 1600mhz

GPU - Palit GTX 460 1GB Sonic edition

HDD - Hitachi Desktar 1TB SATAII

DVD-R - Samsung 22x DVD-RW - ebuyer 233897

Monitor - BenQ 22" FullHD TFT DVI 5ms - ebuyer 158568

Will also have gloss black KB/Mouse/2.1 speakers

Any comments on the parts I dont have ( I have Mobo/GPU/RAM/HDD ) Would be appreciated I cant wait to build this its going to be sexy as all the parts are gloss black and I'll be running Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit.

Cooler: Get something better like CoolerMaster V6GT

GPU: Don't get a palit. Anything but a palit.

RAM: OCZ DDR3 is horrendous, get Corsair/G.Skill/Mushkin etc

HDD: Get Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB instead.

lol thanks but from 3 of your suggestions it looks like you didn't read my post properly.

Are you buying from ebuyer? You can usually build it cheaper at scan. If you're ordering from different places, be wary of shipping costs. Ebuyer are generally quite goof for shipping, though.

CPU cooler if you don't wanna shell out on the V6 - here
The case has decent cable management so a non-modular PSU should be OK, though modular is always nice. 520W on a good quality PSU will power out that system fine, though you may be at a push for future upgrades. If you can't afford it, get this. It's in every way a better unit. For basically the same price as the NZXT, you can get the even more awesome CM 690 II. Generally a higher quality case.

Ow man that case looks awesome! I'll switch that out instead of the hush and use that cooler too as its only a few pounds more, but I'll keep my PSU the same for now, maybe in a few years time I'll get a 650/700 modu for a new graphics card.
