Best Smartphones

i am thinking about getting myself a smartphone this christmas but i don't really know which one to get. Could you tell me which ones are the best in your opinion and if these are worth any attention:
Nokia N8
Sony Ericson Vivaz Pro
Sony Eriscon Mini Pro
Samsung Galaxy
Sony Ericson X10
Sony Ericson X8-can you get this one with a qwerty keyboard?
IPhone 3/3gs/4
--any other good ones you might own/know about?

Well I have the motorola droid from verizon which is pretty awesome has a qwerty keyboard and touch screen and it runs the android os.(currently typing this from my phone). There is the motorola droid 2 which is a newer version of mine and the droid x which has no qwerty keyboard but has an hdmi output and is capable of HD recording and watching HD movies.
 
I have an Iphone 4 and it's simply amazing. Android OS phones are nice too (I recommend the droid 2), but from my experience tend to run a bit more choppy. Apple's app store has more apps (around 300,000) then the android store ( around 100,000) but you should have plenty to choose from either way. Can't really go wrong with an iphone or android device.

The iphones are designed to run right out of the box for people who dont want to mess with the settings. Droids can be a bit choppy if you dont know how to tweak it right. Mine is not choppy at all and i use it every day and pretty much all day long. Droids can also run more than one app at a time which is nice so you can do more things at once than on an iphone.
