Detached then attached video card now monitor won't turn on!

I detached my video card in order to clean it, and now when I try to attach it and replug every wire, including the monitor one, and then when I boot up my PC, the monitor doesn't produce any image, but there's power. In other words, it states 'No Signal'. When plugging in the video card, should I notice anything?

PS. Its not the GPU, as I bought a new one and still no signal.

I didn't recall any power cables attached to it prior to removing it, but it did feel quite loose when I had put it back togeteher, though I tried forcing itg with a little power, but it won't go any further.

Take the card out, check the slot, make sure the pci thing on the rear of the case is not obstructing the card.

What PCI thing exactly mate?

the little bump in the slot here:

Well it really shouldn't. Do you have another slot you could try? There could be something stuck in this one.

It should be fairly obvious if the card is not fully home. Even looking from the outside of the case, the fascia won't align with other cards. You could shine a light into the empty slot in case there is some debris inside and check that all the contacts on either side of the slot are in place. Fairly unlikely any broke taking the card out.

How did you clean the card? Hopefully you didn't use a Swiffer! Presumably you used a can of Dustbuster or compressed air. You can do that reasonably well with the card still in place. Did you make sure you did not handle the card's conductive parts and/or make sure you discharged your static before handling?

Do you have another PC you can plug the monitor and its cable into to check them out? It's desperation time.

Have you cycled power to the monitor in case it thinks it should be in power down mode?

Well id like to mention it is not the gpu, rather another part of my pc causing the 'no signal' display. What are some causes?
