dmp files not created after crash in xp

i just recent had my pc randomly reboot and when looking for dmp file i noticed it was created..what would cause dmp files from not being generated after a crash
 
Check your settings...

1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel (Start>Control Panel in Vista).
2. Double-click System.
3. Click (Advanced system settings link in Vista, then --->)the Advanced tab, and then click Settings under Startup and Recovery.
4. Make sure, there is a checkmark in Write an event to the system log.
5. In the Write debugging information list, click Small memory dump (64k) (128K in Windows 7).

this is all how its suppose to be yet whatever problem im having is still happening so it just restarts my pc with no blue screen and no dmp file any one else with idea pleasee
 
You must have some other issues then, which won't create any BSOD.
It may happen, for instance, if the reboot is caused by overheating, or failing power supply, just to mention a couple of possibilities.

Download System Information for Windows (SIW free version)
No installation required.

After it scans your computer, navigate to Hardware>Sensors and post all info from there.

dont know if mine is worth posting because i dont have sensors for other hardware besides hard drives this pc is old i am building my first pc soon to replace it..but ive never had this issue before it all started after a format that i did just to clean up the system

now i get these random reboots no blue screen and apparently no dmp file either they dont happen to often either its only happened twice in the last 2-3 weeks
